A class 115 set on a Marylebone to High Wycombe service has just stopped at Gerrards Cross in summer 1986. We can see the centre roads looking very unused. These were removed in 1989 which allowed the Up platform to be extended outwards over the nearest two tracks, leaving a conventional two track station in place.
