A Swindon Works image (negative 5CR43) showing a compartment in brand new Inter-City buffet car Sc79442 on 14 February 1957. It has one of the removable tables fitted - normally stored in the corridor. The wood paneling is note on the trafolyte plaque above the window as being Golden Ash from Europe. The carpet does not appear to be lying flat.
