Compartment F (second class) of Sc59402. A mini table is fitted but there were also brackets for a larger table to be fitted (stored in the end of the vehicle). There is a Trafolyte tablet above the window noting what the paneling is - 'Tapestry Dove Grey Formica'. The seat covering would be green (with black pattern) moquette. The vehicle was an Swindon Inter-City composite trailer car (TCKL) built for the Glasgow - Ayr/Girvan/Stranraer route. A Swindon Works image - negative 5CR/136, recorded in the Works photograph ledger as taken on 18 June 1959 yet the vehicle was new to Ayr in April so likely taken around that time.
