A Class 104 two-car DMU formed of cars M53451 & M53518 was departing from Salwick with a Blackpool South to Colne service on October 15th 1988. This was the period when Salwick still retained its former Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway platform canopy. A location that is no longer accessible on the former goods yard cobbled roadway.
