The non-too common sight of a Tyseley allocated Derby built Class 116 Suburban three-car DMU (M53120, M59442 & M53077) at Bamber Bridge with a Colne to Preston service on August 3rd 1985. With its Tyseley Depot board in the cab window (TS513), it would appear that the unit had been temporarily allocated to Newton Heath Depot to cover a shortage of DMU sets.
