DMS M50120 leads Tyseley set 313 at Madeley Junction in August 1962. Michael Mensing.
In late 1962 Derby suburban set 313 is seen between Tyseley and Acocks Green, led by DMS W50120. Michael Mensing.
In mid-1974 Class 116 set TY513 (50120 at the front, presumably with 59013 + 50077) leads a Swindon Cross-Country set at Wylde Green heading for Lichfield City. Michael Mensing.

Nuneaton 20 April 1980. Despite having "Special" as a destination, this three-car class 116 diesel set is heading to a fairly normal destination in the form of Coventry. The formation of set TS513 at this time was 50120/59013/50077, a formation it held from 1969 to 1983. Jeremy Chapter.
A Class 116 with DMS M50120 has completed it's work on the Cross-City line and is crossing Garrison Street on the way back to Tyseley on 13 March 1982. The picture is of Wolseley Street near the junction with Garrison Street in Bordesley Birmingham. The scene is one of inner city change, old streets are being demolished in favour of new development. Tightly packed tunnel and back and back-to-back houses that were built in Victorian times to house factory workers near to their place of employment are being replaced by more spacious semi-detached and town houses with central heating and better insulation. The non-too common sight of a Tyseley allocated Derby built Class 116 Suburban three-car DMU (M53120, M59442 & M53077) at Bamber Bridge with a Colne to Preston service on August 3rd 1985. With its Tyseley Depot board in the cab window (TS513), it would appear that the unit had been temporarily allocated to Newton Heath Depot to cover a shortage of DMU sets. Martyn Hilbert.
Longbridge station on 14 June 1986 has on the right 53120 leading away from the station on the Cross City Line to Lichfield City. The Class 121 DTS in use as a centre car is presumably 54284, the Class 116 DMBS on the rear should be 53077, these forming set TS513. A sister unit is in the down platform with a train for Redditch, the other end of the line. Peter Tandy.

Class 116/115/116 set T513 (presumably 53120 + 59650 + 53077) runs past Stratford-upon-Avon East signalbox on 7 September 1987. The train was working the 14.10 to the terminus from Birmingham Moor Street. Peter Tandy.
This picture was taken on 29 June 1988 when I was scoping out a few locations for shots of steam workings on a weekend of intensive specials between Tyseley and Stratford-upon-Avon. The train is a Birmingham Moor Street to Stratford formed of class 116 TS513 (presumably 53120 + 59650 + 53077 - although their withdrawal pre-date the image!). Henley station can just be made out in the background and it appears that the leading cab of the unit has taken a bit of a clout in the recent past. Peter Tandy.
