The now demolished Birmingham (Snow Hill) Station, on the last day of through Paddington - Birkenhead services, 04/03/67. Brush Type 4 (Class 47) No.D1605 (later No.47 028) enters the station with a Paddington-bound express from Wolverhampton (Low Level) whilst in the centre road are two BR (Derby) Suburban 3-car dmu's (Class 116) Nos.M50885, M59342, M50912 & M50859, M59334, M50888 (note: one too many DMS listed and one DMBS short) idling quietly amidst diesel fumes as the sunlight streams through the stygian gloom.
