Two very smokey Birmingham RC&W Co.3-car Local Passenger dmu's (Class 104) Nos.M50463 (Class 104/2), M59140 (169), M50515 (104/1) of the 1957 batch in BR Rail Blue livery with all yellow front end and another set Nos.M50443 (104/2), M59149 (169), M50523 (Class 104/1) of the 1957 batch with a Blackpool-service white stripe passing Manchester (Exchange) on a Manchester (Victoria) - Bolton - Blackpool service, 08/82. The carriage numbers were hurriedly taken at the time so may not be accurate.
