First DMU to Huddersfield, 1983 The Sheffield to Huddersfield service was re-routed to travel via Barnsley from 9th May 1983 and this is the first DMU to operate the service in the Huddersfield direction arriving at Barnsley station that morning. Someone has one of the doors partially open already, even though the train has half the platform still to travel!
