Pontypridd Station, 02/75, with two BR (Derby) Suburban 3-car dmu's (Class 116), with No.C310 in the lead, on a Trehebert - Cardiff - Barry Island service. Although this station, built by the TVR in 1840, consisted of one (very large) island platform, it somehow contrived to have no less than 7 platform faces, making it the longest on the GWR. But only one face was in use at this time.
