In 1974 a "Lincoln Set" pauses at Woodhouse station, Sheffield, on it's way back to it's home base. The slow lines which passed around the back of the platforms were still in regular use at this time, and above the train can be seen the last gantry of the "MSW" electrified lines from Manchester via Woodhead. Rotherwood exchange sidings, a regular haunt of mine, is situated above the RH end of the station footbridge.
