Bathgate to Buchanan St. The Branch Line Society “Forth Clyde Wanderer” of 27th August 1977 took a refurbished Met Camm DMU over various rare routes in central Scotland. One of the photostops was at the former Bathgate Upper station, where the destination of Glasgow Buchanan St on SC51464 would have further confused any surprised locals.
