Gloucester Class 119 cross-country set L582 (presumably 51096 + 59427 + 51068), usually used on the Reading-Gatwick services, leaves Clapham Junction for Victoria on a driver training trip. Some seven years later, following the severe storms of January 1987, one such unit was deployed on an evening peak stopping train from Redhill to Victoria and back!
