With the light fading a bit too much for a hand held shot on 64ASA slide film a handy concrete planter makes a different shot of 53451+53517 at Lichfield Trent Valley on Tuesday 20th March 1990. The 17:15 Coventry to Stafford service was booked to wait here for a fast service to pass in the days before the quadrupling to Rugeley.
