Redundant stock in storage at Enfield Road Carriage Sidings at Blackpool North on April 4th 1993. Alongside a row of redundant Network South East Class 305 EMU cars was a lengthy row of various stored DMU cars/sets. The nearest set was a two-car Class 108 formed of cars 51919 & 52048 (S940) that had been withdrawn from service in February 1993. S940 was eventually preserved on the Swanage Railway, then passed to the Barry Island Railway and is currently based on the Garw Valley Railway in South Wales.
