Unit 101339, leading car 51467, arrives at Grosmont en route from Whitby to Middlesbrough. This car was based on the Scottish Region for nearly all of its life, moving to Heaton in April 1988 for 15 months before withdrawal, covering for class 143 unreliability and re-engineering. Note the recently re-aligned track, giving the NYMR room to run longer trains clear of BR tracks.
