On a dull wet 16 February 1971 two Met-Camm DMUs are seen in Haltwhistle station. The set on the left is working the Alston Branch, the set on the right with the the orange Tynerail names has Newcastle on the destination blind, but is in the Carlisle platform so the blind at this end may not have been changed.
