47 368 hauling a two-car Class 101 on the ECML at Benton just north of the Wills cigarette factory on the A1058 Coast Road in July 1978. The DMU looks ex-works, the window bars and the lack of PTE branding suggests a Newcastle set, so likely outshopped from Doncaster, and it may be on delivery to South Gosforth via the SW curve at Benton Quarry Junction.
