In the twilight of its years and with a new Class 150/2 'Sprinter' alongside, BRCW Class 110 Driving Motor Second Lavatory E51832 was seeing out its last days as part of hybrid three-car set, stabled in the yard at Neville Hill on March 15th 1987. Originally having first class accommodation in its forward saloon, E51832 was formed with a Class 108 Trailer Car, E59381 and Class 110 Driving Motor Brake Second E51816. The unit was withdrawn in July 1987 and E51832 and E51816 were eventually scrapped, the Class 108 Trailer lasted in service until 1989, following which it too was scrapped.
