A Met-Camm DMU departs from Castlecary station for Glasgow Queen Street on 24 February 1967. The station closed soon afterwards on 6 March. The closest vehicle, a former NER DMBS, carries set number 216. There were only ten DMBSs with the four lamp arrangement, two were on the ScR at the time, 50152 and 50153, allocated to Dundee, and both moved to Cambridge in May 1968.
