The line from Oxford to Bletchley had an overall speed limit of 20mph so it wasn't any trouble on 10 November 1990 to beat the Quainton Shopper from Claydon LN&E Junction where I took photos earlier in its journey, to the bridge just beyond the site of Swanbourne station, now a private house. The train was formed of three two coach Class 115/108 units: 51679 + 54259 / 51657 + 54224 / 54499 + 51652.
