Class 25/3 25324 was passing through Elstree station on the Midland Mainline with a demic Class 127 Bedford-St Pancras DMU bound for Cricklewood Depot on April 12th 1980. Another Class 127 DMU is visible on the extreme left, departing with a St Pancras to Bedford service. These well-worn Diesel-Hydraulic DMU's were finally replaced by Class 317 EMU's in 1983.
