Various special trains were run in conjunction with the Gloucester Open Day held on 4 August 1991. This shuttle service, with Class 47 no D1500 + GWR "Manor" 7819 - using the GWR-liveried DMU 51368 + 59520 + 51410 as stock) was photographed near to the former Horton Road depot - locomotives on display at the Open Day can be seen to the left of my photo. 47401 was still a BR loco at this date, not being withdrawn from service until the following June.
