Standing at the remote Bearley Junction station is W55003, one of the class 122 Gloucester built units based at Tyseley. The train was the 10.00 Stratford upon Avon to Leamington service on 31/12/1979. The electric tail lights were not used st this time and the trusty oil lamp provided the legal illumination. Bearley Junction was the station where the long closed line to Alcester via Great Alne started.
