Network South East Met Camm set L836 rumbles under the Iron Bridge at Lowestoft heading for Norwich, with a long winter shadow cast by the sun, on 6 February 1994. The unit, along with sister L840, had been transferred to Crown Point from Reading in the previous month, to supplement the Class 150 fleet used on local services from Norwich. The unit was subsequently moved to Tyseley and used as a route learner, before being withdrawn in 1996. Both vehicles, 51434 and 51503, would enter preservation.
