Two young trainspotters sit quietly on the bench at Darlaston Station as a BRC&W DMU rumbles in with a Wolverhampton bound train from Burton via Walsall on 02/08/1963. The station is in very good condition given it's timber constuction, the booking hall is at road level on Walsall Road, the main buildings have a canopy but the waiting room on the Wolverhampton bound platform has an unusual barrel roof, the station is gas lit.
