This was the scene looking at Willenhall station on 2nd August 1963. A BRC&W 2 car DMU is heading for Burton with a train from Wolverhampton, it will run via Walsall, Brownhills and Lichfield The stations on the line closed to local passenger traffic on 18/01/1965. Willenhall was the major centre of the lock making industry and the town has an interesting museum dedicated to locks and lock making. Peter Shoesmith
