Bearley Visible. The old running-in board at Bearley station has seen much better days, in those far off days it proclaimed "Bearley Junction change for Alcester" The Alcester branch closed to passengers 25/09/1939 although the junction still functioned for freight and later wagon storage. In this picture the station is in a deplorable condition with the platforms covered in a thick weed growth, the brick edge of the bay platform is visible under the name board. 55003 is heading for Stratford-upon-Avon with the 10.48 from Leamington Spa on 7 February 1981.
