In this photograph from June 1959, taken by Peter Shoesmith, a Cravens dmu (class 105) is approaching Whitacre station from the Nuneaton line. The station was little used during the day, here it would seem just the one member of staff and Peter would welcome the train. The station closed March 4th 1968.
