A Gloucester RCW single car unit drifts into Fladbury Station with a train from Oxford to Worcester Shrub Hill, the single car unit is coupled to one of the unpowered driving trailers designed to work with the W55xxx units. There are no passengers waiting for this train (unless Peter got on) but on the opposite platform a chap with a kit bag sits in the sun and another gent is standing at the picket gate. The main station building and small yard is on Peter's platform, the other side has a very solid looking brick built waiting room. The class 122 is passing under Station Road bridge, today stand on the bridge and look, no station exists, it closed in 1966 and has been completely demolished. Under the bridge is a signal which is off, but the train is clearly being driven and is approaching, had this been the tail there would have been an oil lamp. Image taken by Peter Shoesmith, undated but Circa 1963.
