Class 119 set B577 (presumably 51063 + 59422 + 51091) heads out of Worcester Foregate Street in the late 1960s / early 1970s. Whilst most DMUs went from green livery to blue livery from the late 1960s, Cross-Country (Classes 119 and 120) and Inter-City (Classes 123 and 126) types (including Trans-Pennine Class 124) generally went straight into blue & grey livery, thus they carried this livery with many original fitting such as headcodes (which were normally removed later). Going against the trend, some Scottish region Class 120 and 126 units carried blue livery, whilst some Western region Class 101 units that were deployed on Cross-Country services went straight from green livery to blue & grey, long before the livery became standard for the class.
