Two Buxton allocated Derby built class 108 dmu's (BX497 on the left, probably 51950) on the blocks at Buxton station along with ADB965222 one of the two independent snow ploughs that Buxton had, always ready for use even in July! The nearest unit will shortly be working the Summer Sunday only Peak Rail Rambler service to New Mills Central, on which i would travel. 7th July 1985
