101 687 (51247 + 51512) leaves Platform 10 of Glasgow Central in September 1995. The remaining Class 101 sets had lost their centre cars and were in operation as two car sets by this time, in an attempt to meet the timetable demands of the more powerful Class 156 "Super Sprinter" units (as seen in the background).
