We took several family holidays in North Wales in the 1990s, and I always had a "railway day" on these breaks, usually involving some Class 37 haulage. On 1 August 1997 I arrived in Holyhead on a train from Llandudno worked by the green-liveried Class 101 set 101685 (53164 + 59539 + 53160). My photo shows this set at Holyhead awaiting departure east - I didn't record the train it was working, I was awaiting the 13.56 Holyhead-Crewe with 37426, which would take me to Bangor.
