This image was likely taken for the Brush Type 4, at Cannock Road Junction, Wolverhampton, circa mid-1960s. It also features a mixed-livery BRC&W triple set, the far car with the BR logo on the cab door will has a yellow panel not a yellow end, and another couple of DMU sets in the siding - what seems to be a suburban set but with a headcode so not a 116, and what seems to be a Met-Camm further back. With the collapse of retaining walls outside Hampstead Heath tunnel leading to the cancellation of all NLR services from Richmond - Broad St, the North Woolwich - Camden Road services were extended through to Gospel Oak to ease the disruption. Here a Cravens set formed of E53361 + E54423 run passed the signal box at Camden Road Junction and into the platform on a rather chilly winters morning with a service for North Woolwich on 12th February 1985. It's another hazy spring day in North London with a 'clear road ahead' for the 1115 Gospel Oak - Barking service as it approaches its first calling point at Upper Holloway, formed of BRC&W Class 104 power twin M53492 + M53477. 16th May 1985. Up until mid 1981 passenger services over this route were formed of CW allocated Class 116 DMU's and originated at Kentish Town, accessing the line towards Junction Road Jn via a long closed section of track from 'Engine Shed Jn' just north of Kentish Town station.
