On a typically dull December 30 1989 a brace of four-car Class 115s in a ragbag of liveries approach Aynho Junction with a Banbury - London Marylebone train. Mel Holley.

At the front and rear are Derby-built suburban sets (later Class 116s), with a GRC&W Cross-Country set in the middle. Leading is DMBS W50070 displaying 'Birmingham (Old Hill)' on the destination blind. It has set number 326 in the cab window, meaning the centre car is presumably 59026, the set would later become TY526/TS526. Michael Mensing.
