At 6.25pm on May 17, 1961, a well laden eight-car formation (107, 2-car 101, 107) is seen approaching Killin Junction. They are working the return leg of a Six Lochs Land Cruise to Coatbridge / Motherwell district. Michael Mensing.

29th July 1958

The first land cruise by diesel train is seen preparing to leave Killin on Tuesday 29 July 1958. Formed of four twin sets, it had started in Glasgow Buchanan Street carrying about 500 passengers with the outward journey via Callander and returning via Crianlarich. British Railways.

19th May 1960

A Swindon Cross-Country DMU on the Killin branch on 19 May 1960, during a layover of the Six Lochs Land Cruise. WS Sellar.

20th July 1961

Two Class 108 Two-Car sets crossing from the Down Fast to the Down Slow at Killingbeck (Leeds) so it can stop at Cross Gates station which only had platforms on the slow lines while working a Leeds to York train, not the best photo I've taken but it shows the layout and signals at Killingbeck box. 20 July 1961.
