This was Penns Station on the Sutton Park line which runs between Walsall and Water Orton, probably in 1963. The line closed to passengers on 18th January 1965 but is still open as a major freight artery. The picture shows a Walsall bound Metro-Cammell class 101 with a healthy passenger load. The train is Birmingham bound and will run via Castle Bromwich. The line closed to passengers 18/01/1965 but remains open for freight.
