A Derby twin set led by M56258 (presumably with M50975) is seen working an ECS coming off the Aston line at Stechford in September 1959. Michael Mensing.

A three-car Met-Camm set at Stechford on September 6, 1958, with the 4.10pm Rugby (M) - Birmingham New Street service. Michael Mensing.

M56345 is at the front of a Met-Camm twin and a GRC&W twin seen near Stechford heading for Coventry on 25 July 1964. Michael Mensing.

July 1964

Vehicle: 50534   

BRC&W and Met-Camm DMUs seen west of Stechford in July 1964. The BRC&W set leading is a power-trailer set, the number on the DMBS cannot be completely made out but it ends in a 4. As there were only ten of these sets on the LMR, it should be 50534, which was allocated to Ryecroft at the time but would move to Llandudno Junction within a few weeks. Michael Mensing.

On March 3rd 1962 a BRC&W set (DMBS M50534 and presumably DTC M56177) and Met-Camm set are seen at Stechford working the 12.50pm Birmingham New Street - Coventry service. The vehicles would be allocated to Ryecroft depot at this time. Michael Mensing.

Two two-car Metro-Camell DMUs with a Coventry service (probably from Birmingham New Street) at Stechford in late 1963. The leading DMBS appears to be M51179, allocated to Monument Lane. Michael Mensing.

The 1.40pm Birmingham New Street - Rugby Midland service arrives into Stechford station on 6 July 1959. It is formed of BRC&W vehicles, twin set M50535 + M56178 with two vehicles from a three-car set added to the rear. Michael Mensing.
