A two-Car Class 101 passing the site of West Silkstone Junction with a Huddersfield to Sheffield train 13th June 1983, the route of the closed Worsborough Incline is to the right. The bridge on the right is the one used for the exchange of the £175,000 ransom money by Michael Sams in 1992 before he made his escape along the old trackbed. Keith Long.

The single overhead post is where the siding used to be for stabling the banking locos between duties. Keith Long.

A Class 110 two-Car DMU approaching the site of West Silkstone Junction with a Sheffield to Huddersfield train on 13 September 1984. The train has just departed from Silkstone Common station and is climbing the 1 in 100 gradient towards Penistone and about to pass under Blackergreen Lane bridge. Keith Long.
