On May 19th 1979, WAMRAC (the Wisbech & March Railway Action Committee) organised a special train from the goods terminus at Wisbech and this is seen there on arrival back from Cambridge. E50377 is shown leading trailer E56434 formed as Set 33. The other unit at the rear was Set 44, E51289 + E56468. Gerard Fletcher.

On 6 September 1980 the Fakenham and Dereham Railway Society ran their "GE/GN Joint Freight Lines Railtour" using a pair of Class 105 Cravens-built two-car diesel units, seen here at Wisbech Goods. The full formation as 56116 + 51256 + 56125 + 51271. Jeremy Chapter.

Hertfordshire Railtours' "Fenbasher" tour operated on 4 July 1981 and was repeated later in the month. This is the original, formed 51661/59661/59676/51881, at Wisbech. This class of Derby Suburban diesel units spent most of their working lives operating the routes out of Marylebone. Jeremy Chapter.

Wisbech on the 12th of July 1986. Class 117 DMU sets L424 (51404 + 59514 + 51362) and L412 (presumably 51347 + 59499 + 51389) are on the Fen Tiger Railtour run jointly by Hertfordshire Railtours and the South Electric Group. The tour set out from Reading and travelled via Victoria, Kensington, the North London Line, Stratford, Finsbury Park and Peterborough. It went on to Kings Lynn and then back via Cambridge, Stratford, the North London line and Victoria. The KDH Archive.
