A suburban DMU at Maidenhead sometime in 1986. Closest is Class 118 DMS W51319, which had become a spare power car after W51304 had been withdrawn 1985, which may account for the unusual placement of the set number, with a stray L in the normal position, and L413 added below. This suggests the other vehicles are presumably 59501 and 51349. John Law.

Plymouth Laira Depot Class 118 three-car set P463 with W51320 leading (and preaumably (presumably 59472 + 51305 behind), bustles its way into Quintrell Downs with a Par to Newquay branch service on July 21st 1980. The hand-operated gated level crossing bisected the A5038 and along with its lower quadrant home signals the lady Crossing Keeper here controlled all the movements. Martyn Hilbert.
