Sandite car TDB977486, formerly class 121 driving trailer 54285, standing at Tyseley depot on 15/Jul/1992. Curiously almost every single window has been plated over, including two of the windscreens, leaving a rather more restricted view than usual ahead, although the headcode panel, long disused, remains unplated. Unfortunately the vehicle could only be viewed by peering through a fence making a photo of the complete vehicle impossible. Robert Chilton.

Sandite vehicle TDB977486 inside Tyseley TMD on 26 September 1992. Formerly Class 121 DTS 56285, it now has many windows plated over, and the cab door is a different shade of blue suggesting a replacement. S Gaskell.

There were several single unit DMUs around Aylesbury in 2001 and here at the stops of the stabling roads on 24 February 1991 is 960002, formerly 55020. It was in use for some time as a Sandite and route learning vehicle and was in the Departmental Pool. Behind is probably Class 117 51411, another 117 can just be seen on the extreme left, presumably 51369, behind is 977723 and 977858. Peter Tandy.

The DMU roads at Bletchley contain route learner 977723 (121 021) in Railtrack colours and 117 724 amongst many others in the 1999 view. Graham Baker.

Ex 55021 now 977723 in Railtrack livery but on route learning duty for Chiltern Trains workings from Kidderminster to Marylebone passes SVR on the 27th April 2001. Dave Gommersall.
