Class 128 DMPV 55995 is seen in Northampton on October 8th, 1985. During the mid-1980s Northampton was quite a centre for Parcels and Mail Traffic, and at the peak nearly 10 Parcels or Mail trains of various types would leave the town in the afternoons, from a Class 86 with a string of vans to these humble Diesel Parcel Units.
