 7.      The following tentative programme was agreed. Train Timings are provisional and Mr. Parrish undertook to advise Mr. Knight if they are acceptable so far as the L.M.R. is concerned:-

  Press  Inspection (at platform)     10.45 am to 11.15 am  
  Press Demonstration Runs            
    Depart Marylebone 11.25 am )   to Sudbury Hill and back to Marylebone, calling at Wembley Hill and Sudbury Stations on outward journey to demonstate acceleration.
    Return    " 12.13 pm )  
       
  At platform (available for inspection by railway officers and guests of Messrs. A.C. Cars).     12.15 pm to 1.0 pm  
               
  At platform for cleaning     1.0 pm to 2.0 pm  
               
  Demonstration Run for Commission & General Staff:          
    Depart Marylebone 2.25 pm )     Calling at Wembley Hill on outward journey, to a convenient crossover west of Wembley Hill and back to Marylebone.
    Return    " 3.15 pm )    
         

 8.      The seating capacity of the railbus is 46. Two seats to be reserved on each demonstration run - one for a District Inspector and one for an electrician of A.C. Cars. A "pilot" driver will accompany the driver on both runs.

 9.      The rail bus is not equipped with normal coupling gear. Mr. Jackson said arrangements are being made for a special set of coupling gear to be carried on the vehicle.

10.      Press Material:
Mr. Sidney provided a technical description of the vehicle and undertook to supply 100 sets of line drawings and photographs for the technical press. B.T.C. (Public Relations) will prepare the press story. The latter will be based on material supplied by A.C. Cars.

11.      Press Stewards:
B.T.C. (Public Relations) will supply. (Mr. Grocott offered to assist of additional press stewards are required.)

         Technical Stewards:
Mr. Sidney and Mr. Turner of A.C. Cars, and Mr. Andrews, B.T.C., will be available during the inspections and demonstration runs. In addition, Mr. Sidney will arrange for one or two technical staff from A.C. Cars to be available.

12.      Invitations:
Mr. Sidney will advise Mr. Knight about any guests he would like to invite to the platform inspection from 12.15 to 1.0 pm.

         Press Invitations:
B.T.C. (Public Relations) will arrange. (Copies of letters of invitation to be sent to Mr. Saunders for the guidance of the platform staff at Marylebone).

13.      Mr. Sidney assured the Chairman that the batteries of the rail bus would be sufficient for all heating and lighting purposes during the inspections and demonstration runs.
