The question was raised as to whether any 'D' type intermediate trailers for 3-car sets would be required in the 775 57' vehicles and Mr.Gould explained that for future schemes it was felt desireable to restrict the stock to 2-car sets, owing to their greater availability. It was appreciated that the above figures are only a broad allocation and the requirements will be adjusted as necessary as future schemes are developed.
