On the left, the GWR-liveried Class 117 set 117305 (51410 + 59520 + 51368) is part of a steam hauled (Castle 4-6-0 5029) shuttle that made three return trips from Shrub Hill to Henwick, 37114 "City of Worcester" would be on the other end. Class 117 at Worcester Two for the price of one at Worcester Shrub Hill on 14 December 1984. An HST terminating service from London Paddington was about to pull out of the station to reverse for the returning up journey (the arm of the appropriate signal can just be glimpsed in the "off" position behind the footbridge) as class 117 B430 (51368 + 59520 + 51410) arrived from Birmingham New Street with a Hereford train. This unit will also reverse here and take the curve towards Foregate Street station. Peter Tandy.
