53473 leads 104 451 into Falkirk Grahamston station with a Dunblane service on the 30th September 1984. The rear car is 53525, the centre car is probably 59559. Hamish Stevenson.
This class 104/107 3-car hybrid DMU set is seen in at Ardrossan Harbour Winton Pier Station prior to departure with the morning boat train to Glasgow on November 4, 1985. The station only had a sporadic service through the day connecting with ferry sailings to and from the Isle of Arran although the sign on the footbridge reads to the Belfast ferry this route had finished in the 1970's. This 3-car train would form service 1T82 09.35 to Glasgow Central. Adrian Nicholls.

A class 104 / 120 hyrid (presumably 53473 + 59264 + 51583) departs Newton on Ayr with the 15.15 Ayr - Glasgow Central on 27-09-1986, the last day of diesel services. Stored 107s can be seen in the yard ahead. Gordon Thomson.
Set 104451 only contains one Class 104 vehicles when seen at Ardrossan Harbour with the 15:18 Ardrossan Harbour - Glasgow service on November 19, 1986. DMBS SC53473 is working with two Class 120 vehicles, presumably 59264 and 51583. Hamish Stevenson.
