A three-car Class 120 dmu (set C558, presumably 51579 + 59264 + 51588) appears to be stabled in the down through road at Totnes, while Class 50 No. 50 045 Achilles arrives with the 09:46 Penzance - Paddington service on Thursday 29th June 1978. Tom Harper.

On the way to March Yard on 19 October 1985 where my friend scored his "cop" we called at Ely station where this class 120 unit, EP514 with vehicles 53687 + 59264 + 53785, was on its way to Birmingham New Street while passing Ely South signalbox with the diminishing range of semaphore signals showing how much track rationalisation had been carried out in the recent past. EP514 - Johnstone circa September 1986. Class 120 unit 514 transferred from Derby Etches Park seen here in Johnstone just before the electrification of the Ayr line.
