26th July 1972

Class 116 DMU set P322 (W50132 + W59352 + W50090) arrives into St Erth station on 26 July 1972. Stuart Mackay Collection.

2nd January 1975

The Looe branch train at Liskeard on 2nd January 1975, formed of Derby set P322 (possibly 50132 closest?). The dmu is standing in the Looe platform that is located on the north side of the station at right-angles to the GWR main line beyond. Just noticed the brake van in the siding on the far left. The line runs north for a short distance before swinging sharply to the east & passing beneath the main line continuing round to head north again to Coombe Junction & reversal down to Looe. 3rd January 1975

Trains waiting at Paignton Great Western station on 3rd January 1975. The DMU (50090 closest?) is headed for Exeter St Davids and the Class 50 diesel 50038 for London (Paddington). Pete LG99.

August 1975

Class 116 suburban unit P322 (presumably 50090 + 59352 + 50132) heads a six-coach train along the sea wall and into Teignmouth in August 1975. Passengers would have had a good view in return for the spartan conditions. Tony Watson.

2nd November 1975

Class 116 DMU set P322 (presumably 50090 + 59352 + 50132) passes a Western with a rake of Mk2s as it arrives into Newton Abbot with the 12:56 from Paignton on 2 November 1975. Stuart Mackay Collection.
